Embodying Soul Dance at Unity on the River

Embodying Soul is a conscious movement practice. In this dance of discovery, we create a space, a field where we allow ourselves to pause and be present. We draw our awareness inside, within our physical bodies and encourage our mental energy to become quiet. The dance inquiry invites and welcomes all expressions that arrive in the embodied moment.
Let’s be curious. See if we can let go of some of our habitual patterns on the dance floor. Intentional, random, smooth and awkward, wild and peaceful. What if it’s a mess? Our dance can be a big expression and it can also be small and slow. We are always in motion even in stillness.
My intention in this dance is to listen with more openness to what is stirring within – watch and follow the breath, drop into the music and fully occupy my body. The invitation is to take time to move to all your senses. What do you see, hear, and feel? The rhythm finds its way into every cell, it is 360 degrees around us, and it connects us to eachother and to everything.
